We are thrilled to announce that the esteemed former Magistrate William Hussmann, Jr. has been chosen to receive the Siesky Law Firm Lifetime Achievement Award for December. William Hussmann’s illustrious career is marked by an unwavering commitment to the pursuit of justice and a tireless dedication to his community through volunteerism and leadership.

Hussmann’s commitment to the legal profession extends beyond his professional practice. He has been an active member of the legal community, serving as a member of the U.S. Judicial Conference Committee on the Codes of Conduct. In this capacity, he guided federal judges on compliance and ethical issues under the Code of Judicial Conduct. Furthermore, he has been a dedicated member of the Evansville Bar Association, where he served on the Board of Directors, and has contributed his knowledge as an adjunct instructor at the University of Evansville’s School of Business.

William Hussmann embodies the spirit of the SLF Lifetime Achievement Award. His exceptional legal career and selfless service have left an indelible mark on our community. How to Avoid Devastating Accidents

To avoid car accidents, it’s crucial to exercise caution and make responsible choices while driving. One key aspect is being mindful of weather conditions, particularly when roads are icy and snowy. Staying updated on weather forecasts and road conditions is essential, and if possible, avoiding travel during severe winter weather can significantly reduce your risk.

Equally important is not putting yourself in situations that can be avoided, such as driving recklessly, speeding, texting, drunk driving, or engaging in other distracted behavior.

Additionally, steering clear of roads with heavy vehicles, like semi-tractor trailers, when they’re navigating poorly-maintained winter roads can minimize the likelihood of accidents, as these large vehicles have more limited maneuverability in adverse conditions. By prioritizing safety, you can significantly decrease the chances of being involved in a car accident.

Welcome Back to Siesky Law Firm, Jennie Jolly!

We are delighted to announce the return of a familiar face to our team – Evansville native and Reitz High School graduate Jennie Jolly.

With a wealth of experience gained over two decades of diverse professional ventures, Jennie first joined Siesky Law Firm, PC, as a full-time paralegal from 2012 to 2015. Now, she’s back with us part-time, bringing a valuable depth of knowledge and a passion for helping our clients.

Jennie and her husband Chris, residents of a cozy log cabin in St. Wendel, have cultivated a charming homestead. Their bustling abode is home to three spirited chickens and an adopted feral cat who, after experiencing the comforts of indoor living, has decided that indoors is the place to be.

Their weekends are often spent either attending or tuning in to a multitude of sporting events. Sports are a cornerstone of their family life, from cheering on grandkids participating in soccer, basketball, volleyball, and jiu-jitsu to enthusiastically supporting teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, the Indianapolis Colts, IU Hoosier basketball, and the Golden State Warriors.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Jennie back with us, and we look forward to the wealth of expertise and compassion she brings to our team!
